Good news for marine life in California!

The California Coastal Commission has banned the Navy from any further sonar testing off the coast of California because it is dangerous to the marine life that live there. BRAVO! Now let's hope the Navy steps up and respects that decision! They are climate patriots!

VFW Memorial Wall

In my email this past week I received an invitation to put any Veterans of Foreign Wars on a Memorial Wall for free or a donation. I went to the website and added both of my grandfathers for their service in the Army during WWI and my dad for his service in the Navy during WWII. I sent it to my sister in Florida because I thought she might like to add her husband for his service during the VietNam War. It is a wonderful website and there is a store to purchase patriotic items. It just made me feel real good for the Memorial Holiday.
