Back to the desert ~ the dimming of the sun

During this time Jesus isn't accounted for much. Where does He go? Back to the desert to pray? I think this is one place He could have been for a while. It is 40 days before and 40 days after Easter where He prepares Himself for His sacrifice and Resurrection. It is another time of deep prayer and soul searching and Father God is very involved. Besides visiting His friends, the Apostles, He must prepare Himself for the Ascencion to Heaven.

Much prophecy has come to pass and much is being written during this time. One is the Darkening of the Sun. It is prophesied when Christ dies.

Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two...
Luke 23:45

From the Old Testament...

the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine...
Is 13:10

And the prophesy of the future...

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light...

Matt 24:29

On PBS the other night was a show about the Dimming of the Sun, which explains by scientific methods that earth has lost a large percentage of our sun's light due to pollution particles in the air. The particles are caused by jet planes, factories and our ever lovin' cars and trucks. The dimming causes immediate droughts all over the world, including our country, but Africa is hardest hit. On the 2 days that all air traffic was stopped in our country, 9-11 and 9-12, the air returned to a more normal state. And the narrator said that the US had really improved on pollution compared to well, China.

Oh my Lord, Father God, help us to implement the means and instruments we have to stop this madness now. Change us over to renewable energy, replace our transportation with good machines that will help restore our atmosphere. Help make everyone aware and in agreement, dear Lord Jesus. We are in the desert and you must lead us out. Amen
