Blessings of the Wild Turkeys

Turkeys are America's native bird. A special bird used for our most sacred feasts, Thanksgiving and many at Christmas. It is from the pheasant family which helps explain why it is so flavorful. Every American child has probably made a work of art out of the turkey in grade school in some fashion. It is a tradition. And it is always the wild turkey with its deep brown feathers and multi-colored head and neck that is the model, so we pay tribute to this...the wild turkey.

Not long ago, the wild turkey population was down to 30,000, going extinct. Today at ENN, the report is in...about 7 million according to the National Wildlife Turkey Federation! Blessings overflowing on bringing the wild turkey back.

Thank you God.
