Christmas Greetings at Epiphany

It is the weekend of Epiphany. In the Roman Catholic Church this final Christmas holiday marks the visit of the Magi to the Manger. It is also the Julian Calendar's Christmas in the Orthodox Churches. I didn't know any of this until I was an adult, growing up in a non religious family without my father who loved classics, and leading a devout but Protestant life by myself at home. It was as if the world opened up like I was able to travel with the Magi to visit the Christ child and his parents in a new way. A Christian renewal of spirit and story with the discovery of Epiphany and the Julian Calendar!
