Lent is the beginning of the Holiest season in the Christian faith. This is a time of prayer, repentence, humility, sacrifice and giving for Christians around the world. It is a time of deep soul searching, cleansing and thoughtfulness. Lent ends with Holy Week and finally Easter. It contains the time of Passover for the Jewish faith. It is a time the two faiths combine and interact with meaning since Christian communion is from the Jewish Passover meal only with deeper significance of Christ's invitation to join him in heaven with the Father God. Lent and Easter is also a time when many are baptised, I was and my daughter. It is my prayer and hope for the people of the world that they will believe in God and learn to follow Him and love one another.
