Sharpless 171 in CepheusI have been a subscriber to NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day for several years and was delighted to find they are featured in Gadgets at Blogger. I never contact the photographer until I saw the above photo. It was shot by astrophotographer Antonio Fernandez of Spain. I noticed the colors and depth were more intense than most photos I've seen. When I clicked on his name it took me to his beautiful website, Antonio Fernandez Astrophotography. Please click on this link for an out of this world experience. There is a whole gallery of breathtaking shots of space. After contacting him my email to ask permission, I received a gracious email telling me it was okay to use the photo in my blog along with linkage. The amazing thing is this is Antonio's, or I should say, Dr. Fernandez' hobby more or less!
