MOMIX and other mysteriousness

We went to the MOMIX production of Lunar Sea. It was a perfect Halloween celebration. MOMIX is a company of dancer/illusionists and the production was like performance art. The creator of this company is Moses Pendleton and reading about him was enlightening. His homegrown sunflowers are surrealisticlly reproduced on scrims in a gigantic size as are other shapes and objects. The theater was packed and it was 90 minutes without an intermission which kept the attention totally focused.
We left early so as not to trigger Tricksters that we were home for treat distribution. Instead there was a note on the door to come back next year. LOL!! We had dinner out and then roamed around Carmel in the car. That was spooky since there are no street lights in the town except around the shops. Also no trick or treaters and no decorations. Some people came to the show in costume probably coming from or going to a party.
One of my better Halloweens!
