Sometimes wondrous things happen involving countries. Our whole continent, Canada, US, and Mexico got together and put protections on the Monarch butterflies to preserve them as they migrate from country to country.
It's called The Trilateral Monarch Butterfly Sister Protected Area Network and involves all three countries, our entire continent!!
It's amazing what something as small and delicate as a butterfly can do on the international diplomacy scene.
