Third Week of Advent

This Third Week of Advent held a very special surprise for me. I mentioned before how wonderful it would be to hear from my daughter and grandchildren. It is so rare that I get to know anything about them.
His name will be Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace...

IS 9:6

I got an email from Megan, my daughter, with a link to 106 photos of my grandchildren. I can have prints made of those I like and share with my mom.
What next Lord? We're steering around in our ship almost 360 degrees as our new President-elect shapes his Cabinet. Thank you. Americans are humbling themselves after this greedy economic ride we had all around the world crashes around us. I hope more will look around and notice someone who needs even more help and will give it.
My mom took me to two Christmas shows this last weekend in Carmel, CA at The Sunset Center. One was the Smuin Ballet Company out of San Francisco, CA with a lovely Christmas ballet of classic and contemporary dance. The other was a musical trio called GrooveLily who told Hans Christian Anderson's story of The Little Match Girl correlated to a cynical young man and a young woman selling full-spectrum lights to combat SAD in the winter. It takes place on New Year's Eve and is called Striking 12.
It was wonderful to get away and see something shiny and beautiful during the Christmas Season. Then my Christmas miracle for this week...hearing from my daughter and seeing the wonderful photos of Moriah, Josh and Jake, my sweet grandchildren.
