Thanksgiving preparations underway! A neighbor gave me a big bag of persimmons that were picked from one of their friend's trees! Making new sauces this year with these beauties! I'm brining 2 turkeys this year, mine and a neighbor's and we are sharing food. Pumpkin, sweet potato and pecan pies, cranberry persimmon sauce, brined herbed turkey with trimmings. Many people will be coming and going so no time to feel sad or lonely! Planning on long walks this weekend!
