Candlelight Vigils tonight for Japan!

Greenpeace has 130 candlelight vigils, at least, planned for this evening for Japan and the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear victims. I say nuclear because even though no one has died yet from their reactor meltdowns, they are in a watch and protect mode that must be terrifying. It is our great lesson of things that could come. In my state, Diablo nuclear reactor is by the ocean and by the San Andreas fault. This earthquake in Japan was felt clear around the world. The leakage is so volatile and difficult to stop, there is a new report every few hours.

If you want to attend a vigil click here and you will find a link to your area and scheduled vigils. Otherwise, you might light a candle or two at home for the Japanese people who are an example to us of great spirit in the face of horrendous catastrophic events...their pain bleeds into our hearts. Our prayers are with you
