The UN has warned that there are 3 urgent tipping points in the world that climate change is effecting. Tipping points are points where when passed the damage is irrevocable.
1. Deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest
2. Algae growth in fresh water lakes and rivers
3. Coral reef decline due to ocean acidification and warming temperature
These global climate change is pushing ecosystems to and over these 3 tipping points and loss of biodiversity will be irreplaceable.
