My birthday celebration included an afternoon at the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is currently featuring a wonderful show about seahorses, one of my favorite animals. There was also a skit outside for kids about the environment. Of course, I couldn't go without a sea otter feeding which was such fun and then the kelp forest feeding which had starfish stuck on the glass, sharks anxiously pacing the waters, a couple of silvery schools of sardines and many other fish. I didn't take pictures because I used up my batteries in the Seahorse exhibit and didn't bring any extra.
