The Journey

In the movie, The Nativity, it takes Mary and Joseph many days to reach Bethlehem. The hardships and perils of the journey are emphasized and they reach their destination at dusk, with Mary beginning the throes of labor and doors shutting in their faces. The movie transports us to the times and still carries the message to our hearts and minds over 2,000 years later. It is a wonderful movie for this season, for anytime.
